Morgan starred alongside other actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention as well as education. The proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force behind many fund-raising campaigns for this disease. She also spoke before the Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada has contacted that she replace him on occasions at AIDS associated events. She also hosted an AIDS Awareness Special together with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to be on two occasions on Nightline regarding AIDS. Morgan was awarded an Emmy nomination for her extra episode in Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. She co-starred in the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife alongside Joan Rivers. The summer began in the form of Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams were also on the show. Her next project brought her to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also appeared in a psychological suspense drama that was exclusively produced by USA Network. This thriller garnered the best ratings of all time for the channel.
